Working with professional artists and arts organisations brings strong added value to our student experiences whilst on their course
In the School of Arts and Media we value this input highly and would like to share information below to promote our partner organisations, professional visiting artists and fellow collaborators.  
Partner organisations 

​Milton Keynes has a broad and varied cultural offer with many active organisations including three national portfolio organisations, MK Gallery, MK Arts Centre and The Stables. MK College is proud to be a part of the Milton Keynes Cultural Educational Partnership through MAKE

Recent Artist and organisation links 

Milton Keynes has a broad and varied cultural offer with many practicing artists and professional creatives.

In this most challenging of years we have really valued the support and friendship of many external artists, creative professionals, Industry specialists, arts organisations, partners and co-collaborators who have given input to our students’ experience.  As delivery has adapted to online learning it has facilitated the contributions of guest speakers from beyond Milton Keynes. 

For bringing huge value and enrichment to the student experience in this academic year we would like to acknowledge and thank:

 

Within our first few weeks of the start to a new academic year in September 2020 our Acting students were fortunate enough to work with recognised local theatre practitioner Rosemary Hill you can read more about that experience in our blog feature and view pictures in the gallery tab.

 

In the year September 2019 - July 2020 including throughout Lockdown we have been proud to work with and host workshops and talks from the following creative professionals: Motus, Stuart Moore, Frances Fox from Westbury Arts Centre, Katie Ellen Fields, Elizabeth Howard from Arts & Heritage Alliance, Tom Eke, Nicky Hunter, Patrick King,  Emma Cousin, Priya Chohan Padia, and Maria Teresa Ortoleva, Kate Milner, Angela Carmody and the design team at Cygnus, Kate Wyatt,  and Joe Little from Westbury Arts Centre Studios.
